Hager Adil, Khartoum (Sudan), is pursuing her degree in software engineering from the University of Khartoum. With her growing passion for the tech industry, she has actively taken part in several initiatives including helping build websites for non-profits, organising several tech conferences at her university etc. She is interested in exploring data tool to tackle societal challenges in Sudan, which experiences life threatening challenges including shortage of food and basic life needs. She believes that there are solutions to these challenges in data and was motivated to join the EquiTech Scholars Program due to its strong belief in advancing technology for social impact.
